Family’s Ranches

Every quality product can be traced back to its successful beginnings. You can’t build a great building on a weak foundation. Our natural cattle come from different family ranches around the country. Each of these ranches has a long family history in animal husbandry. These beliefs and practices of animal care are passed down, generation after generation. These ranchers dedicate their lives to the care and wellbeing of the animals that they breed and raise. This is their livelihood. The ranchers are out everyday of the year taking care of the cattle, from the moment the calves are born until they are ready to be sent to Cattleman’s Choice Feedyard. Most cattle that become beef have been injected with hormones at some point in their lives. Hormones are never injected into our cattle. We believe that our cattle should grow at a natural rate. Some calves just need a little bit more time and love to grow!

Cattleman’s Choice Feedyard

With over 25 years experience Cattleman’s Choice Feedyard inc. has strive to produce the highest quality product, with consumer demand in mind. Working closely with the cattle raisers to improve quality, efficiency and overall wellbeing of the animals. We work hard to build trusting relationships with consumers, retailers, packers and producers.

We focus everyday on what is best for the animal, the customer and the company, in that order.

Frontier Meats’ Facility

As a third generation family owned meat business we operate 6 meat processing plants located in North America, South America, Australia and Europe. After working in our European operations for over a decade, I accepted the position as President of Frontier Meats in 1990 and moved from Europe to the United States to run our North American facilities, consisting off a processing plant in Mexico and the packing plant in Fort Worth, Texas.

At our Frontier Meats’ facility, which has been in operation since 1972, we have strived to provide our customers with top quality meat products. Today, with our USDA and EU certifications, we slaughter, process and ship Wagyu Beef, Pork, Bison, Wild Boar and hormone-free natural Beef throughout the US, the Far East and Europe. Starting in 2015, we added portion controlled steak cutting and ground meat & patties to our product line.

We are very fortunate to have many plant employees who have been with us for over 25 years. We believe that stability and consistency are some core values that have contributed to our growth.

Logistics Management

Day and night food is being transported across the country. With current technology and professional logistics management, Family’s Beef can be transported to meet any demand. Food safety regulations are always met to ensure quality deliveries. We understand the importance of temperature-control, shelf life and on-time deliveries. Whether being transported by truck, plane or ocean vessel, our logistics team is ready to fulfill our customer’s needs.

Make It Your Own

Today’s exposure to new cultures, ideas and preferences open the doors for the opportunity for new experiences. The focus of the Natural Line of Family’s Beef is to provide that experience through our protein products. The animals of Family’s Beef were humanely treated, fed a healthy vegetarian diet and were never exposed to added hormones. All stages of Family’s Beef, from pasture to plate, have invested as much time and care into the product as we would with our own family and friends.
